The goal of this project is to reduce the unwanted flow of groundwater out of Everglades National Park. Phase 1 of the seepage barrier wall was constructed from August 2010 - January 2011 and is 2 miles long, ~35 feet deep, and ~4 feet wide. Phase 2 of the seepage barrier wall was constructed from October 2015 - April 2016 and is ~3 miles long, ~35 feet deep, and ~4 feet wide.<\/SPAN><\/P>
