Description: The GEMM database was created to support the Groundwater Exchange Monitoring and Modeling (GEMM) plan located in South Florida. These indices reference the geographic locations of the datasets identified in the GEMM database. A comprehensive data inventory and geospatial database was created support the Groundwater Exchange Monitoring and Modeling (GEMM) plan. The data inventory is compiled in a spreadsheet with numerous records identifying geospatial datasets, repositories, existing models, and studies and reports within the GEMM study area. There are 3 indices based on data type: spatial, stations, and study areas. The spatial index references the spatial datasets included in this inventory, the station index references the stations from various studies or repositories included in the GEMM database, and the study area index references the studies selected for the GEMM database. This index can be used to identify which datasets within the GEMM database are available within specific geographic areas. Each dataset in the inventory has a unique GEMM ID assigned that corresponds to the GEMM ID in this dataset. The final inventory, acquired files, and indices will be available internally and uploaded to DataOne for external users to have access.
